Bele

It is a misconception that Beach Boy Brian Wilson after the failure of his unfinished masterpiece Smile (1967) never has performed. The ' genial crazy ' has a lot of Nice work written, such as Time To Get Alone (1969) and 'till I Die (1971) and the entire Beach Boys album, Love You (1977). Also when he went solo in the late 1980s, remained his talent emerge in beautiful melancholic songs like Love And Mercy, Lay Down Burden and midnight's Another Day. His eleventh solo album No Pier Pressure also contains a lot of bittersweet songs, which the seventies this time sings along with a few old Beach Boys-friends and younger artists like Nate Ruess (Fun.) and Zooey Deschanel (She & Him). A good move, because Wilson is not a great singer. The brave production on No Pier Pressure picks up not so good. It listens all easy way, but at the same time makes little impression. Newcomers can better the great solo albums That Lucky Old Sun (2007) or Brian Wilson Reimagines Gershwin (2011) listen.
