'Nothing Seems Real' is straight from the Humate school of progressive/trance. It starts out with pacy bouncy squelchy beats which become increasingly claustrophobic. Serious but warm landscaped film score strings creep in, taking over on the breakdown, leading to the paranoid spoken vocal - "I've just been dreaming this life", "When I wake up, I find I think I'm someone else". The track then picks up the pace again to become increasingly like experiencing a nightmare and waking up in a cold sweat.
